Welcome Robert

KGA would like to welcome Robert to the Christchurch team.

Robert is a chartered civil engineer with specialist knowledge of geotechnical engineering and over 14 years' experience in feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design, project leadership/management and coordination, client liaison and construction supervision of both small and large scale projects. Since 2012, Robert has been heavily involved across the entire spectrum of Christchurch Rebuild projects, from forensic investigations (dispute case and repair options assessments), ground investigations, assessment and design of liquefaction mitigation measures, foundation and retaining wall designs, through to construction observations.

Robert has worked on both building and infrastructure projects, and believes than an engineer's solution is only as good as its buildability. Prior to New Zealand, he worked in the UK on a number of large infrastructure projects, including flood defences, bridges, railway stations, windfarms, Olympic infrastructure, power plants, water, wastewater and roading, as well as low level basements and regional regeneration projects.

Outside of the office, Robert likes to think that you can 'babysit' your own kids, and spends most of his time with his two young children.
